1) Browse our curated catalog

We hand-pick brandable names (and design a number of matching sample logos) so you’re immediately choosing from strong options, rather than spending countless hours looking for a needle in a haystack on a domain registrar. Search by style or industry in the "Categories" menu to explore our collections.

2) Transparent pricing with payment plan options

Every listing shows the full "Buy Now" prices (no haggling) for each domain, which are very reasonable compared to most domain sellers. We also offer a $29 a month payment plan option, so you can start using the domain and logos right away while paying over time. If you choose the payment plan, your first payment is made at checkout, the number of payments is shown before you purchase, and you can cancel at any time. If you cancel, future payments stop, but previous payments are not refunded. There is no credit check, interest, finance charge, plan fee, or early-payoff fee, and full legal ownership of the domain and logo transfer on the final payment.

You may be offered other payment plan options from 3rd parties (like Shop, Affirm, PayPal, Klarna, etc.) while purchasing at the full "Buy Now" price. If you choose one of these plans, the process to transfer the full legal ownership of the domain and logos to you will begin immediately after the purchase is completed and confirmed. However, these payment plans all have their own terms and conditions, may charge interest, may have credit checks, and are unlikely to allow cancellation at a later date.

 3) Secure checkout

We use industry leading payment processors like PayPal*, Google Pay*, Apple Pay*, Amazon Pay*, Venmo*, Shopify*, and Stripe* to securely process your purchase. For "Buy Now" customers, your funds are held safely while we complete the domain transfer, and if a transfer can’t be completed, you’re refunded. It’s that simple.

 4) Domain transfer: fast, guided, and verified

After payment is secured, we will send you simple instructions in your order confirmation email on how to begin the transfer (either a push to your account at Dynadot* [easiest and fastest transfer method], or an inter-registrar transfer with an auth / EPP code). Most transfers complete in ~2 - 7 business days depending on registrar and DNS steps. We will walk you through each step and confirm completion of the transfer.

For "Lease-to-Own" customers, you can begin using the domain after the first payment clears: we'll ask you where your website or email is hosted, and we'll configure the necessary DNS settings. During a Lease-to-Own plan, ThriftyNames retains ownership and registrar control of the domain until all payments are made, at which point we will transfer the domain to you as described above.

 5) Logo & brand files delivered digitally

Along with the domain, you receive the logo files shown on the listing (in editable and scalable SVG format) and basic usage rights for the mark / artwork included in the package. A download link to the logo package will be included in your order confirmation email, so you'll have immediate access.

During a Lease-to-Own plan, the files are licensed for use with the domain, and full ownership rights transfer when the domain has been paid in full.

 6) Launch

Once your new domain is in your registrar account and your logo files are delivered, you can point DNS to your website or storefront.


FAQs

How long does the transfer take?

Most buyers are fully set in 2 - 7 business days; timing depends on the registrars involved and how quickly you complete confirmation emails.

Do you guarantee trademark availability?

No. Like other marketplaces or domain registrars, we don’t guarantee that a name or logo is available for your specific goods / services or regions - final IP clearance and any trademark filings are the buyer’s responsibility. (We're happy to point you to search resources or legal counsel.)

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. ThriftyNames offers a $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan. ThriftyNames does not obtain a consumer credit report or credit score for this plan. After your first payment is successfully processed, you may use the domain for your website and email through DNS settings we configure on your behalf, and you will receive the included logo files under a limited license. ThriftyNames retains ownership and registrar control of the domain during the plan. After the final payment is successfully processed, we will begin transferring the domain to your designated registrar account, and the logo ownership rights described in our Terms will take effect.

You may cancel the plan at any time while it is active. Future charges will stop, but payments already made are nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law. DNS service will end, and your permission to use the domain and logo will terminate. To choose this option, select the $29 “Monthly Payment Plan” on the product page before adding the domain to your cart.

Alternatively, if you select Buy Now, eligible customers may be offered a separate financing or installment option at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, or PayPal Pay Later. Once the provider confirms the order as paid, ThriftyNames treats it as a one-time, paid-in-full purchase and begins its normal logo-delivery and domain-transfer process, subject to any required payment, identity, and fraud verification. Your repayment arrangement is with the provider and does not delay the transfer. The provider sets its own eligibility, credit-review, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

Do you run a credit check?

No. ThriftyNames does not obtain your credit report or credit score for its Lease-to-Own plan. Ordinary payment and fraud verification may still apply. This answer applies only to the ThriftyNames $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan; any separate financing or installment option offered at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or another provider, is governed by that provider’s own eligibility, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

Is interest added?

No. The total plan payments equal the Buy Now price displayed when the plan begins, excluding applicable taxes. The last payment is simply the remaining balance and may be less than US$29. This answer applies only to the ThriftyNames $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan; any separate financing or installment option offered at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or another provider, is governed by that provider’s own eligibility, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

What happens if I miss a payment?

We will notify you and retry the payment. You have 15 calendar days from the original due date to update your payment method and pay the missed installment. If it remains unpaid, the plan may be canceled, previous payments will not be refunded, and the domain’s DNS settings will be removed. This answer applies only to the ThriftyNames $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan; any separate financing or installment option offered at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or another provider, is governed by that provider’s own eligibility, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. There is no early-termination fee. Future charges stop, but completed payments are nonrefundable and the domain will not be transferred to you. This answer applies only to the ThriftyNames $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan; any separate financing or installment option offered at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or another provider, is governed by that provider’s own eligibility, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

Can I pay the balance early?

Yes. Contact us for an early-payoff amount. Who renews the domain during the plan?

ThriftyNames keeps the domain registered while your plan remains active. Standard registration renewals are included in your agreed purchase price. This answer applies only to the ThriftyNames $29-per-month Lease-to-Own Payment Plan; any separate financing or installment option offered at checkout by a third party, such as Shop Pay Installments through Affirm, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later, or another provider, is governed by that provider’s own eligibility, payment, interest, cancellation, and refund terms.

What if something goes wrong during transfer?

If a transfer can’t be completed, the transaction is canceled and you’re refunded; if it completes, the transaction is then finalized and funds are released to the seller.

What’s included with each purchase?

  • The domain name (full rights, transferred to your registrar account).

What will you need from me?

  • A registrar account (Namecheap* [easiest and fastest transfer method], GoDaddy*, etc.). If you don't have one yet, don't worry - it's very easy (and free) to set one up as part of the transfer process.
  • Your email or username associated with your registrar account for a domain push, or readiness to authorize an inter-registrar transfer. Don't worry - we will walk you through the entire process.

What are your policies at a glance?

  • Delivery & Transfer: digital delivery + domain transfer after payment is secured.
  • Refunds: once transfer is completed, sales are typically final (except where law requires).
  • IP/Trademark: buyer is responsible for clearance / registration.
  • EU/UK buyers: if you request immediate delivery, you’ll be asked to waive the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content / services so we can start the transfer right away (standard EU / UK rule)
